Mom caught on cam beating her 3-yr-old daughter

Reading about child abuse cases is bad enough, but actually witnessing it being caught on film is an entirely different beast.

An ugly display of abuse was captured on tape in the Philippines last month and has now gone viral for the world to see.

In the video, a three year old girl is seen taking a bath and her mother seems irate and frustrated.

The frustration turns into fury as the mother begins pummeling the child with hands, whacking her with a wet clothing garment, and also smashing her with the object she was dipping into the water.

ABS-CBN reports that the woman claims she acted violently because she wasn't feeling well at the time.
