Caught On Camera: Gunman Ambushes Homeowner Once Outside And Demands Him To Give Up Keys To Mercedes (VIDEO)

A walk outside to bring out some trashcans turned into a frightening experience for an Atlanta man this past Monday evening, as he was met by a man with a gun shortly after stepping out.

"I heard a voice saying 'Give me the keys, give me the keys.' so I looked and there was a guy with a gun drawn right at my chest," Brad Edmonds told Atlanta'sWSBTV.

Edmonds was forced back into his home by the gunman as he wondered 'How do I make it through this? How do I even the scale?'.

"I thought about getting my gun, but I might not be here telling the story had I done that," he said.

Instead, Edmonds yelled for his friend, who was sitting in the living room, to call for help.

Then he ducked into his bathroom, locked door and dialed 911.

The video shows the robber standing at the front door pointing his gun inside.

He stays there until he gets the keys.

Cameras were rolling when he made a messy exit.

He only opened half of Edmond's iron gate, and slammed into a trash bin before getting the car wedged in the gate.

Back and forth he goes, ripping off the side view mirror until he's finally free.

The damaged luxury car was later found in Dekalb County as police hope the footage of the suspect can lead to his capture.Full Story
