The leak of Kanye West's proposal video to Kim Kardashian has been traced back to YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley.
It wasn't exactly hard to find out who the culprit was since Hurley tweeted the clip to his half million Twitter followers on Tuesday (October 22). He also sent it to several news outlets, along with a short press release, according to Vanity Fair.
Hurley uploaded the video on the new MixBit app he created along with partner Steve Chen.
The leak probably stole a considerable amount of viewers from E! The network is planning to use footage of the event in an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
TMZ reports that West and Kardashian are planning to sue whoever released the footage because that person signed a confidentiality agreement.
Will we be seeing Hurley in court defending himself soon? It shouldn't be long before we find out.
In other Kim and Kanye news, several reports have surfaced that the two will not have a long engagement and plan to get married in the very near future.
