Marvin Gaye Son Doesn't Want His Dad Biopic To Release Saying 'They're Trying To Do a Film About a Low Period In His Life' -- Details Inside

Marvin Gaye Son Doesn't Want His Dad Biopic To Release Saying They're Trying To Do a Film About a Low Period In His Life. MARVIN GAYE III, son of the legendary MARVIN GAYE has recently revealed his disapproval of his father’s life being turned into a film.
LENNY KRAVITZ, is rumored to play the soul legend in the film Sexual Healing, a biopic that will shed insight into the singer’s battle with drug abuse, depression, and the events leading up to his 1984 death, where he was shot and killed by his father.
However GAYE also claims that he and other members of his family have been working diligently to stop the production of the film and wants to “talk to him [Kravitz] about why he would do this. I would hope [Kravitz] doesn’t have any idea that we are against this film being done.”
According to GAYE,”The producers and directors of this film are very wrong and shameful…[They're] trying to do a film about a low period in his life. They don’t even know the whole story.”
There is no word on an expected release date for the film, so we shall see.
