Young Thug Denies Involvement In Lil Wayne's Bus Shooting. Is Bothered That Weezy Won't Work With Him

DETAILS INSIDE
On April 26, 2015 Lil Wayne's tour buses were shot at as he left a performance in Atlanta. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
Former Rich Gang affiliate Jimmy Winfrey, aka PeeWee Roscoe, was later arrested for his alleged involvement in the shooting.

In July an indictment named Birdman and Young Thug as co-conspirators in a plot to have Wayne killed.
"On April 26th, Jimmy Winfrey carried out [Young Thug's] threat [in the "Halftime" video] and shot at two tour buses," the indictment claims.
Neither Baby or Thugger were arrested, although Winfrey says in court documents obtained by TMZ, that the beef between Weezy and his Cash Money Records boss played a role in the shooting.
"[Birdman's] financial dispute with [Lil Wayne] is what ultimately led to the shooting," the document reads. "[Birdman] should be held liable as a party to the crime."
Winfrey has been charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, possession of a firearm and violation of both the RICO Act and Street Gang Terrorism Prevention Act.
In a new interview with GQ, Young Thug denies any involvement in the crime.
Why’d you decide to connect with Birdman and Cash Money Records?
Because my whole life I looked up to them. I wanted to stunt like Birdman, which I f*cking am. And I wanted to be like Wayne.
Plain and simple: Did you try to have Lil Wayne killed?
F*ck no.
Does it bother you that Wayne, one of your idols, clearly has a personal problem with you?
Maybe if I was a peasant it would. But of course it bothers me some, because that’s what I always wanted. It was so weird: I always wanted to be in the studio with Wayne. I would tell Birdman to bring him over, but he never f*cking came.
