On Thursday morning, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte left Fox’s “Good Day Philadelphia” show anchors Sheinelle Jones and Mike Jerrick laughing so hard that they were unable to go on, bringing the show to a complete halt. The star of the new E! Reality Show “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?” proved to be unable to answer all but the simplest questions about his life and new show, a fact that left Jones and Jerrick giggling helplessly as Jones wiped tears from her eyes.
Things began normally enough with the anchors rolling a clip of Lochte’s show, followed by Lochte appearing via satellite in a plaid shirt and loosely knotted tie.
“Oh and of course you go and get all cute,” Jones said to a grinning Lochte. “Your tie’s all loose.”
Lochte assured the anchor team that he’s “a lot different than any other kind of Olympian,” that he does more than train, eat and sleep. “There’s so much more to me than swimming.”
His show, he said, details his exploits among his large group of friends and family and his search for true love.
Things got awkward when Jerrick asked “what kind of line” a woman could use if she met Lochte and wanted to captivate his attention.
Five seconds of dead air followed.
Jones quickly changed the subject, but by the end of Lochte’s appearance, the two anchors were giggling uncontrollably.
“Seriously,” asked Jerrick when Lochte’s feed went dead, “how are they gonna get enough material? What was the question that stumped him?”

Finally, she wiped her eyes and said, “He’s so cute. Did you see the plaid?”“We’re gonna get in so much trouble,” Jones said, before starting to laugh so hard she had to turn away from the camera.
“You should loosen your tie like that,” she said to Jerrick. “It’s sexy.”
