After years of cancellation speculation and a steady 

decline in ratings, BET finally announced last week 

that they’d be ending the 14 year television run of 106 

& Park in December.

Although the show will continue in a digital format, the 

ending of 106 & Park on the small screen certainly 

marks the end of an important era for the network. 

In light of the cancellation, original hosts AJ Calloway 

and Marie Wright aka Free took to their social media 

accounts with a few words.
