Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the best boxer in the world and a father who provides for his kids. He recently purchased a Bentley golf cart for his son, Koraun's, 15th birthday. Koraun appreciates the gifts, but his opinion of his father is a negative one.
"He is a coward," the teen tells USA Today.
Koraun's anger stems from beatings he witnessed his mother, Josie Harris, receive at the hands of his father.
According to Harris, she was physically assaulted by Mayweather six times. The worst attack happened on September 9, 2010, when Floyd found out Harris was dating NBA player C.J. Watson.

Although they were separated at the time, Floyd flew into a rage and attacked the mother of his three children.
"I was sleeping on the couch and was awoken by him grabbing my hair," Harris recalls. "He had my phone is his hand. I have no idea how long he had my phone and was scrolling through my text messages. And the text message he saw from the gentleman I was dealing with at the time, it set him off."
Witness statements from Kouran and his brother detailed the beating.
Mayweather punched Harris in the back of the head, kicked her and stomped on her shoulder.
Kouran, who was 10 at the time, disobeyed his father by going to get help.
"(My dad) said to lock my door and stay in my room," Koraun said. "I sat there and thought about what I was going to do next. Just for like a minute."
The 10-year old initially told a woman who was staying in the guest house. She didn't believe him, so he then tried to run for help but was stopped by one of Floyd's friends.
"Then I went back into my room and locked the door and then ran back out my bathroom and then hopped over the gate and went to the main entrance gate. I just told (the guard) that my mom was getting hurt and to call the ambulance and the police."
Floyd was arrested for the assault. He accepted a plea deal and later pleaded guilty to a reduced battery domestic violence charge and no contest to two harassment charges. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
Harris believes her son saved her from an an even more severe attack.
"I just thanked him because I didn't know how long it was going to continue to go on," she said. "And I just feel like if he wouldn't have gone to get the help that I may not even be able to be sitting here. I was a battered woman, I felt embarrassed about saying I was a battered woman. I felt shame. I felt like it was my fault. What did I do? I didn't understand what a battered woman was at that time. Now I know I was in a very dysfunctional, hostile relationship and a victim of domestic violence."
Floyd has been cited or arrested for seven attacks on five different women over the last ten years
