Kanye West Turns Down $4.5 Million Vegas Residency That Would Have Surpassed Celine Dion & Britney Spears As The Highest Paid

Kanye West is sitting on so much money he can afford to turn down a gig that would have been the most lucrative in Las Vegas.

According to TMZ, Yeezus was offered $500,000 a show for nine shows at Planet Hollywood's Axis Theater. The $4.5 million gig would have made the rapper the highest paid entertainer on the strip. His per show checks would have topped Britney Spears ($475,000) and Celine Dion ($476,000) for their residencies at Axis and Ceasars Palace respectively.
