Being worth nearly $1 billion and having one of the highest-profile jobs in the music industry doesn't make you exempt from that awkward first day of work and meeting new co-workers. For Apple, Beats' Streaming Service Trumps Headphone Business During Apple's decidedly non-hip-hop Worldwide Developers Conference, the taciturn rapper/producer-turned-executive was introduced by Apple senior vice president of software engineering Craig Federighi. "Hey doctor!," Federighi says in the video below.
"You're on speakerphone via my Mac with over 6,000 amazing developers here at WWDC. We all want to welcome you to Apple." After extolling the company's apps, Dre, playing to the crowd, said, "By the way, I'm glad you called. I hear [Apple CEO] Tim [Cook] gets in pretty early. What time should I show up for work?"
