**UPDATE**
The Denver Post is reporting that Schoolboy Q was a passenger in the SUV being shot at. A man with a rifle opened fire on the vehicle around 10:25 PM Thursday night, June 19.
"We heard more than eight gunshots in a row," said witness Patricio Illanes. "Then saw an SUV take off and we paused for a minute. We didn't hear anyone yelling or anything like," he said. "At the time we were thinking the situation might have been fireworks."
The SUV sped off and kept driving until it was stopped by police. Schoolboy was briefly detained because the SUV ran several red lights and didn't immediately pull over as police pursued them with flashing lights.
Three people in the vehicle were wounded. One was treated and released. The other two remain hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
SchoolBoy sent out a tweet saying he was OK.
