Florida Assistant State Prosecutor Kenneth Lewis is not making many new friends after posting what some consider to be an offensive message on his Facebook page.
Lewis sent out a Mother's Day message telling "crack hoes" that their kids deserve a better parent and they should stop having children.
Lewis claims the message was meant to be "inspirational."
According to the New York Daily News, the prosecutor has a history of making inflammatory Facebook posts.
Kenneth Lewis
In the past he's expressed support for racist Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, criticized President Obama and George W. Bush, argued that a 19-year old burglary suspect should have been shot in the head execution style and attacked Puerto Rican Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor, by insinuating she got her job because of Affirmitive Action.
The Sotomayor post included her photo and a caption that read:
Lewis' boss, Orange-Osceola State Attorney Jeff Ashton, said he didn't agree with the Assistant State Prosecutor's comments, but they were protected by the first amendment.
Ashton issued a statement told Channel 9
Dana Jackson of Justice for All Ministries, believes Lewis should be held accountable for his comments.
