Dave Chappelle battled with some of the people in the crowd at his show in Hartford, Connecticut last week. He was relentlessly heckled and basically mailed in his 25-minute performance afterwards.

During the comedian's show in Chicago on Tuesday (September 2nd) he went off on the people of Hartford.

"F*ck Hartford. I swear to God, f*ck that whole city. I will never go back. I won't even go to Hartford for gas. I don't want anything bad to happen to the United States," Chappelle said. "But if North Korea ever drops a nuclear bomb on this country, I swear to God I hope it lands in Hartford, Connecticut."

Dave wasn't done there.

"That crowd was evil. Those motherf*ckers were torturous," he continued. "Young white alcoholics. Just booing and talking all kinds of sh*t. I wanted to pull a reverse Kramer and call them all 'crackers' or something crazy like that,"  Dave added, referring to comedian Michael Richards infamous n-word-laden 2006 meltdown at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood.

Hartford's mayor Pedro Segarra heard what Dave was saying about his city and responded today via Twitter.

Segarra also gave a statement to TMZ.

"His recent remarks were immature and inappropriate," Segarra said. "[He] should stick to his job, give the fans what they paid for and not disparage the good people of Hartford."
