In you have got to be kidding us news, a real warrant for the arrest of Timothy Blair aka Tim Dog has been issued in Mississippi! You can not make this stuff up! However, the warrant was issued because a judge in Desoto County, MS seems to think Tim Dog was in fact making stuff up, namely his own death!
According to WREG Memphis, Tim Dog, or Timothy Blair, was convicted of swindling a Southhaven women in 2011. He was supposed to be paying the money that he allegedly swindled out of her via an online dating site, back to her via a court order. The rapper owed $19 thousand in restitution to the alleged victim.
Says Hernando Prosecutor Steven Jubera;
“If Tim Dog is alive, he’s pulling off the greatest scam ever in the history of hip hop. And if he’s alive, he’s also going to jail.I need proof.”
Said the alleged victim Esther Pilgrim;
“I believe he was so angry that he had to pay me back. This is amusing to him.”
Clearly Ms. Pilgrim really thinks Tim is still alive, but so does the judge and prosecutor!
Said Jubera;
“I need proof, I need a death certificate showing that’s he’s dead because as far as I’m concerned, he’s alive. Nobody said where he died, nobody said where he was buried, which is very odd for an obituary,”
Jubera, with the Desoto County DA’s Office, filed a petition with a judge Tuesday To have Tim Dog’s probation revoked!
Says WREG Channel 3;
“The rapper was supposed to be making monthly payments to the courts after being convicted of grand larceny, but stopped paying when he was reported “dead.”
Hmm, you think? Kinda hard to pay bills if you are no longer living isn’t it?
Law Enforcement is complaining that no information was given about his passing, or where he was buried by the trade mags and websites that reported on his death. Who do they think they’re talking about Tim Dog or 2Pac? Of course they didn’t say much about it, he hardly got spoken on in the last several years at all, there was probably more written about him in his death than there had been in years. Ms. Pilgrim must have been under the impression there was a whole lot more going on with him in the industry than there really was.
But what makes this even more bizarre, is that his Hip Hop homie, Ced Gee allegedly told News Channel 3;
“I refused to speak at Tim’s funeral because Tim Dog’s family could not produce a death certificate.”
Ced Gee allegedly thinks no funeral took place as a result.
News Channel 3 says they also used a private investigator, who found no death records anywhere for Timothy Blair. You can’t be serious! Tim Dog has a TV news channel sending out private investigators to find him. Unheard of!
Says Jubera,
“At the bare minimum he would get arrested and sit in jail until his court hearing, I will drop the arrest warrant, if Tim Dog’s family members can come forward and show proof of his death.”
Unbelievable! If he’s dead, what does the family care if they have an arrest warrant for him? Seriously, what is that going to do either way?
All of it is wild! What if, he actually passed away, and his family didn’t have the funds to give him an elaborate home going? What if they cremated him or had to do something for low dough, and didn’t want it public? What if a family that did nothing to this lady is now being drug through mud that they ought not be in? What if a family that is grieving is now being harassed on top of it?
If they do in fact produce a death certificate for Tim, what do they get out of it? Because this is beyond embarrassing. We’ve never heard of this before. If the prosecutor is wrong, then we wonder what recourse the family has for this public embarrassment? Your tax dollars at work!
Guess we’ll all have to stay tuned!
