The always beautiful and classy Wendy Raquel Robinson (pictured center), who plays ‘Tasha Mack’ on BET’s ‘The Game,’ shared her feelings on the departures of Pooch Hall and Tia Mowry Hardrict from the hit show and her reaction to Hall’s “irresponsible” tweets about BET’s decision not to bring him back for the 6th season.
[The show's producers "didn't tell us anything" about the changes," Robinson tells ABC News Radio, " but they did share that "it was going to be hard to continue on with the storyline."If [Hall's Derwin Davis] gets traded and [Mowry-Hardrict's Melanie Davis is] off at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore — we’re set in San Diego — so it would’ve been a little convoluted.”
Robinson shared that Hardrict’s exit was especially difficult:
“Personally that’s my little sister so it was devastating. But now in retrospect so many other opportunities have come to her: movies, her own show and then she got a reality show. So…it’s still hard, but it’s a blessing in a disguise for her as well,” Robinson says.
Robinson was sympathetic to Pooch Hall’s very public dialogue on Twitter about BET’s decision not to bring him back, but she was very matter of fact about the “business”:
“It’s kind of like going through a bad divorce and there’s the love of your life getting married again. How do you act?…It’s a knee jerk reaction. He’ll get over it and that wound will heal,” she says.

As previously reported by NewsOne, though Hall has sincerely — and often — expressed his appreciation to the network for reviving ‘The Game’ after fans petitioned to bring it back when it was cancelled by the CW, former co-star Hosea Chanchez tweeted a lengthy response to what he felt were Hall’s ungrateful and “irresponsible”‘ statements.
