Lauryn Hill Performs Socially Conscious New Song Black Rage & Lauryn Hill "Ready Or Not" - Live in Houston, TX. Lauryn Hill is currently on the "Life Is Good/Black Rage" tour with rapper Nas, which kicked off on October 29. On the second performance date, in Dallas, Hill recited lines from a new song entitled "Black Rage." The Hip Hop/R&B artist has not released a new single or album since her 'MTV Unplugged' on Nov. 2, 2002.
With one listen you can tell Hill is creatively in the same mindset as 'Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,' the new lyrics take aim at social matters in the African American community. "Black Rage is found who fed us hatred self hatred lies and abuse while we waited and waited..." is a piece of a verse from the cut
