Florida Officer Under Investigation After Video Released Shows Him Punch Suspect 10 Times In The Head (VIDEO)

The early morning hours of August 4 were a good time for 29 year old Jason Dragash of Sarasota.....until the cops got involved.
His wild time at Club Ivory led to the police being called and him facing disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges.
Those charges were eventually dropped and the actions of one officer in particular who was caught on camera most likely played a role in that.
Sarasota Police Officer Scott Patrick is under an internal investigation by the police department and a criminal investigation by the State Attorney's office after he admitted to punching Dragesh ten times in the head.
According to the probable cause affidavit, when 29-year-old Jason Dragash resisted arrest, a scuffle began.
Officer Patrick and Dragash fell onto a table with beer bottles. Officer Patrick writes- to gain compliance, he punched Dragash ten times in the head.
Chief Hollaway said when the shift commander arrived at the scene, Dragash's injuries alarmed him. He requested to see the night club's surveillance video, and immediately launched an internal and criminal investigation.
Chief Mikel Hollaway assured the community the case will be thoroughly investigated. Hollaway said, "I want to let you and my community know I take these allegations seriously."
Office Patrick is under administrative leave. He's been with the Sarasota Police Department for nine years. Full Story
