With the ongoing tension between Alliance leader, Bounty Killer and Gaza artiste, Tommy Lee seemingly on the verge of boiling over, the latter artiste's mentor has stepped in to try and quell the beef.
Despite being incarcerated on murder and conspiracy charges, Dancehall superstar, Vybz Kartel has reportedly reached out to Tommy Lee from jail, urging the Some Bwoy deejay not to clash his former mentor turned rival, Bounty Killer. This, after a number of verbal exchanges between Bounty Killer and Tommy Lee, ignited by Killer's comments that artistes should stop making demonic references in their songs while publicizing a link that ties in 'Sparta' (Tommy Lee's persona) with homosexuality.
After initially stating that he would not diss Bounty Killer, Tommy Lee recorded a new track, Goat Head that lyrically lambasted the 'War Lord,'while making reference to some of the Alliance founder's past transgressions. This prompted Bounty Killer to declare himself as Dancehall's 'G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) while calling himself, 'Jesus Pryce' in his fight against demonic lyrics and using disparaging nicknames to describe Tommy Lee.
However, Vybz Kartel wants an end to the lyrical warfare, warning Tommy Lee that pursuing a clash with Bounty Killer may be detrimental to his career progress. A source close to Kartel told Urban Islandz that the self-proclaimed 'Worl' Boss' called Tommy Lee from behind bars, advising him not to take his issues with Bounty Killer any further while insisting that the former Portmore Empire leader and Alliance stalwart still holds his ex-mentor in high regard.
Tommy Lee indicated in Goat Head that he would not be following up his track with another Bounty Killer diss while the Alliance creator ruled out a possible clash at STING 2012 between himself and Montego Bay born deejay.
